Your Honor:

I respectfully request:

That the Court drop the charges against me today due to insufficient evidence.  This whole thing is a waste of the Court's time and the taxpayers money.

If the Court is not willing to drop the case today, then:

1. If the Court asks me,
I intend to plead Not Guilty; and

2. I respectfully request a Trial By Jury; and

3. I respectfully request a Continuance for sixty (60) days:

a) To select and hire an attorney to represent me; and
b) To earn money to pay for attorney legal fees
and other costs with respect to this case.

4. I respectfully request that an audio recording copy and/or written transcript of this and all other court proceedings in this case be provided to me at no cost because I cannot afford to pay for any of this at this time.
